Choose rail, coach, flights or ferries for the actual route

Between cities

Rail suits destinations on a working rail route; coaches reach towns without rail service. Flights can help on longer journeys, but airport access, check-in and baggage time matter. Island ferries depend on the actual pier and weather.

Starting transport allowances

Editable allowances per person, one way: intercity coach THB 300–1,200; rail THB 200–1,800 depending on class; domestic flight THB 1,000–4,000; ferry THB 200–1,200. These are editorial planning assumptions, not supplier-confirmed fare ranges. Special routes and peak dates can exceed them.

Grab, Bolt and taxis

Check the in-app quote, permitted pickup area, vehicle type and tolls before confirming. Service coverage varies by city. For an unmetered ride, agree on the price and destination first. Motorcycle rides are not an automatic fit for children or large luggage.

Connections and ferries

Use the station and pier on the ticket, not just the city name. Allow a buffer for separately booked connections. Avoid pairing the last ferry with a flight without contingency time.
